Good morning/ Good afternoon/Good Evening.Thanks for the time that given to me, let me introduce myself. My name is .................. I’m from ...................
At this occasion, I am going to make speech entitle “To Be Autonomous Learning”   

Ladies and gentlemen whom we fully respect,

 As students, we must study hard at schools and at home. We should also pay attention to the materials that are given by our teachers. We also do our home works well. Besides, we must obey the school regulation. We attend to the school libraries in the break time for reading and borrowing some books. Every subject must be mastered well. Mathematics, English, Indonesian language biology, physic, history, civilization, religion, computer and art. The students should understand them perfectly.

Ladies and gentlemen whom we fully respect,

Science and technology develop rapidly in this world. The information of the development of science and technology are not only at school but also outside schools.

Do we know that the development of science and technologies are written in the magazines, science journal and on the newspapers? The students can hear the science broadcasting from the radio. The televisions’ programs of science and technology can be watched and can be applied by the students in their daily lives. Watching the technology and science program on the television is very useful for us.. We can get the development of science and technology by browsing them in the internet.

Ladies and gentlemen whom we fully respect,

If we want to follow the development of science and technology, it better for us to read everything on the newspapers, books and magazines which are related to the science and technology. We can also follow the science and technology program on a certain television channel. As an example, how a certain animal gives a birth and how to plant rice well?

Ladies and gentlemen whom we fully respect,

In this case, we should not depend on our friends, the teachers and our parents. As students, we must be creative and innovative in getting the knowledge by ourselves. We enlarge and enrich the science and technology by reading a lot of books, magazines, newspapers. We have to become an autonomous learning. We must learn and study science and technology by ourselves. Nobody press us in doing this. Browsing the science and technology from the internet and watching scientific program on television are very benefit for gaining knowledge. There are some television channels that send out these programs such as INDOSIAR, SCTV, Trans 7, TV one, TVRI, RCTI, Metro TV,  etc.

Ladies and gentlemen whom we fully respect,

A proverb says that never put off until tomorrow what we can do to day. As young generation, it’s better for us to be autonomous learning from now and the future. By doing so, we will give a very big contribution to ourselves, to our families, to our societies and our beloved country. As clever and responsible students, we will make tomorrow will be better than today.
