 Hari Senin, 23 September 2013, SMP Negeri 1 Kayen mengundang Ketua Komite Bp. Drs. Muh Ali Chobib ( Aggota  DPRD Kab. Pati) untuk menjadi Pembina Upacara. Untuk  berikutnya, SMPN 1 Kayen akan mengundang Bapak Camat Kayen, Danramil Kayen, Kapolsek Kayen  , KUPT Kayen dan unsur kompeten sekitar lainnya.
Undangan ini dimaksudkan dalam rangka Pembinaan Karakter Bangsa di SMP Negeri 1 Kayen.  Dalam amanatnya beliau mengungkapakan bahwa  untuk menjadi siswa yang berhasil paling sedikit ada 3 hal yang perlu dilaksanakan.

2. Disiplin : Disiplin dalam belajar

3. Mau menghormati para guru :

As a matter of fact, English is one of the International Language. Because of this, most people in a certain part of the world with different languages can communicate to each others  if they are good in English. Good in English means they can listen, speak,read, and write well.

One way to be able to speak well, a student or a person should practice it well to. Here are simple  examples of  English Speech Text ( Naskah Pidato Bahasa Inggris) which can be used to improve speaking skill. The duration is about 4/5/6 minutes for each text. All of these examples were written by the writer by himself. They are free here. It means if you are interested for having them just take it. Just make a copy and  print it. You might make some changes. The writer hopes that these article are very useful for anybody who wants to improve English especially  his/her speaking.

Indonesia Archipelago

Indonesia is located between two continents ; Asia Continent and Australia Continent. Indonesia is also located between two oceans; Pacific Ocean and Hinda Ocean. Indonesia has 13.334 islands. The five big islands are Sumatra Island, Java Island, Kalimantan Island, Sulawesi Island and Papua Island. The other islands such us Bali Island, Lombok Island, Madura Island etc.

Because of these location, Indonesia has two seasons: dry season and wet season. In the dry season, the sun is located on the north of equator. The wind blows from Australia Continent to Asia Continent. Because it passes the narrow sea, it only brings a little steam water. Because of this, it only rains in some parts of Indonesia. In this season, there is some drought in some places in Indonesia.

On the other hand, in the wet season, the wind blows from Asia Continent to Australia Continent. Because it passes large ocean, so it brings a lot of steam water. There is a lot of rains in most part of Indonesia. It sometimes brings flood.

Generic structure teks recount :

1. Orientation (orientasi) : berisi pendahuluan tentang tokoh yang ada dalam cerita tersebut, peristiwa yang terjadi, tempat dan waktu peristiwa itu terjadi.
2. Events : berisi tentang jalinan peristiwa/kejadian yang ada dalam cerita pengalamn tersebut. Bagian ini bisa terdiri atas beberapa event/peristiwa.
3. Re-orientation : berisi tentang rangkuman/penutup cerita.

Ciri-ciri teks recount :

1. Menggunakan simple past tense (was, were, did, kata kerja bentuk ke-2)
2. Sering diawali waktu lampau, misalnya : last week, yesterday, two days ago, dan lain-lain.
3. Biasanya berisi tentang kegiatan liburan/wisata
4. Tujuan teks recount yaitu it is to retell about events or experienced in the past
